Our 2023 Annual Report is extremely positive, and includes updates on recent project wins, a list of notable employers, and our progress on important initiatives. It has been exciting to celebrate the cumulative impact of our work. Over the last 5 years alone—LCP fueled a whopping $1.2 BILLION in direct capital investment, drove the creation of 4,445 new jobs, and kept 4,739 existing jobs in our community. Our project pipeline remains robust. We are managing 39 projects, primarily in the industries of advanced manufacturing, life science, data, and sustainable energy. Our involvement with the Greater Chicagoland Economic Partnership is also opening up new business attraction opportunities. The conversations that we are having with business leaders are very optimistic, and we expect to see continued growth and investment in the back half of the year.
