Lake County-headquartered Abbott has launched an exciting initiative to foster a more inclusive clinical trial ecosystem in the U.S. The initiative will create new approaches to training, education and research infrastructure to build on the company’s commitment of engaging populations historically under-represented in medical research. It will also improve health by increasing access to innovative treatment options available within the trials process and increase insights into how different groups respond to therapies.
