Illinois is #1 State for LEED Development According to USGBC

The U.S. Green Building Council has ranked Illinois the number one state for LEED development in the country. Illinois is the top leader in green development nationwide, with 3.16 certified gross square footage per capita. Lake County continues to see an uptick in sustainable development, and works closely with partners like Lake County government and utilities such as ComEd to leverage available incentives.
