We’re in awe of Lake County’s life science talent pipeline. Over the next five days, 118 rising 3rd to 8th-grade girls will explore science, technology, engineering, and math at the Illinois Biotechnology Innovation Organization (iBIO) STEMgirls Camp in Waukegan. With support from Abbott, Horizon and the Steans Family Foundation, these young leaders will gain hands-on experience working with each other and laying the groundwork for rewarding careers in Lake County. We’re looking forward to seeing where this unique experience takes them.
