Takeda is expanding its presence at R2 Companies’ Innovation Park Lake County in the Village of Libertyville with another 80,000 sq. ft. to juice its operations — doubling down on a cutting-edge campus that’s quickly being redefined. “The deal shows Innovation Park’s allure as a destination for life sciences research in the far north suburbs, a longtime hub of biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies,” noted Danny Ecker at Crain’s Chicago Business.
