Mighty Hook, an advanced manufacturer of innovative hanging and masking products, joins state and local officials in celebrating the opening of its new headquarters in Waukegan, Illinois. Following an extensive search of location opportunities in the Midwest, Mighty Hook purchased a 38,000 sq. ft. facility at 3900 Hawthorn Court. The project was made possible through strategic coordination and support from Lake County Partners, DCEO, IMEC, ComEd, the City of Waukegan and Lake County Workforce Development. The new space houses administration, manufacturing, storage and distribution for the company. It provides enhanced operational efficiencies and capacity for continued growth thereby paving the way for additional jobs in the future. As part of its recruitment push, the company is establishing a robust training program to help upskill employees interested in this highly sought-out trade.
