Our year-in-reviews always give us the opportunity to take stock of Lake County’s business climate. We knew that 2023 was going to be a stellar year for economic growth, but our 5-year inventory paints the most vivid picture of our community’s health and LCP’s impact. We are so proud to have fueled $1.2 billion in direct capital investment, driven the creation of 4,445 new jobs and kept 4,739 jobs in Lake County. We couldn’t do it without our investors and partners like World Business Chicago, the College of Lake County, Lake County, the Job Center of Lake County IL, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Lake County Tech Campus, Lake Forest College and the many other businesses, municipalities, philanthropies and organizations that support us and make Lake County such a special place in which to live, work and play.
