The Chicago Tribune joined Lake County leaders in celebrating the results of an economic impact study by the Illinois Manufacturers’ Association. The study found that precision manufacturing supports nearly 100,000 jobs in Lake County – among the largest concentration in the state. The jobs are highly lucrative and rely on Lake County’s tremendous talent pipeline which is being nurtured by educational institutions like the College of Lake County.
