Dutch paint manufacturer AkzoNobel is investing $58M+ in its Wauekgan, Illinois aerospace coatings plant. With air travel demand expected to increase over the next few years, this upgrade will enable AkzoNobel to expand its North American supply and add more automated processes. First established in 1999, AkzoNobel’s Illinois plant is its largest aerospace coatings facility, making exterior and interior coatings for commercial, military, and private airplanes.
