At the beginning of each year, the College of Lake County hosts its Engineering Internship and Information Technology Career Fair – providing an important opportunity for local businesses to connect with talent. In 2022, the event will be held in-person on January 7th. Employers can now register to attend and meet with candidates to fill apprenticeships, internships and full-time positions. Attendees come from top schools across the Midwest, including Purdue University, University of Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan State and more. Opportunities can include work in engineering (EET, MET and civil) as well as automation, CIT, precision manufacturing, environmental services and more.
