Mid-Lakes Community Health Center Expanding
Contact: p, (847) 247-0137 Wednesday, January 13, 2010 Lake County Health Department's Mid-Lakes Community Health Center is expanding, with groundbreaking for the 3,000-square-foot addition set for May. The center, located in Round Lake Beach, is Lake County Health Department's only facility in western Lake County.
Previously located in Round Lake, the health center had moved to its current site at 224 W. Clarendon Drive six years ago. Since then, annual medical visits have increased by 46 percent, and annual dental visits have increased by 109 percent. The expansion project will add examination rooms, one dental operatory, and WIC, behavioral health and nutrition counseling space.
